Dating over 30 - it isn’t important just how you have got to be single in your mid 30’s. What does matter is that you have concerns, so you can protect yourself and those you date from getting hurt. You need to be clear about your goals, both in the long term and short term.

You do not want to be snagged into relationship that you did not want to begin with. First, you want to consider what your short term and long term relationship goals really are.

If you’re someone that’s a bachelor or bachlorette and is happy to stay that way, then you don’t need to be going out with with a guy or gal who really want to settling down, get married and have kids. A persons age has a lot to-do with if they’re ready to settle down or not.

Most times, people in there 20’s are searching for a good time. While this can be a lot of fun, if you’re searching for a real relationship you may need to look somewhere else.

There are many things to think about when your are looking to date people that are older or younger then you are. If you fall in love with with a person that is many years younger then you, you may get your heart crushed because they aren’t as mature as you are. People in their 20’s are trying to work out their life plans, and are still forming their goals for the future.

If you feel the need to quiet down, don’t go running after the gal or guy who has no intention of a long term relationship.

Dating a person many years older than also has its own problems.  Mature folks have a usually already have decided what their goals in life are and just what they want, and tend not to wan to get off that trail. Older lovers may not want to spend their Friday night at a rock concert, so you can see a band you like.

Now, if you take things into consideration, you’ll find that many of the barriers of dating people older or younger then you can hurdled.

When looking for a new relationship, you also need to think about you monetary position. Are you prepared to give up 1/2 your bank account, if you get a divorce? This is vital depending on the person an age range your dating. People that are not even married loss money in multiple way in break-ups. You need to play it safe and have a plan to protect yourself.

Last, if you have kids you’ll also have to consider how dating other people will effect their lifes and make sure they are perpared for it.
